He will direct our paths!

 My heart is heavy, not so much as to what I am dealing with, but about
what those that I love and care about are going through. I see marriages
struggling to make it. Families being destroyed due to drugs and alcohol.
Friends battling through health issues that have rocked their world. Many
people suffer through loneliness due to one reason or another. Children
have to deal with the life issues of their parents and are not being able
to enjoy just being a kid. There are many different ways people find to
help them make it through the day. Some look to the world while the
believer in the Lord Jesus is to look to the Word. I have a friend that
shared her "Bible verse" with me, *Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all
your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways
acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.* Trust - "reliance on the
integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing;
confidence". This can be a difficult to do if you do not know "who" you are
trust in. and the primary way we get to know the Lord is through His Word.
Brethren, may we get into His Word and have His Word get into us, and then
we can be confident on Who we acknowledge and as His word says, then, He
will direct our paths.
