IF
If you (Israelites) faithfully obey the LORD and the Law.
The LORD will bless you (Israelites) set high above all the nations that they (nations) will know it was from the LORD.
“In the ancient Near East it was customary for legal treaties to conclude with passages containing blessings upon those who observed the enactments, and curses upon those who did not.” (Harrrison)
In the New Testament the word IF is used again!
Romans 10:9 If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
But IF you wait too long, you will pass and people will say, only IF and then it will be too late! Only IF he confessed with his mouth!
Likewise, only IF the rich man in purple listened to Moses!
Luke 16: 23In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham from afar, with Lazarus by his side.
24So he cried out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue. For I am in agony in this fire.’
IF your reading this, it’s not too late! JESUS is knocking on your door!
It’s up to you IF you will let HIM in.
