Acts 16:31-40 Therefore come out now and go in peace.”!

Acts 16:31-40 Therefore come out now and go in peace.”!
The Jailer Converted

31They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” 32And they spoke the word of the Lord to him together with all who were in his house. 33And he took them that very hour of the night and washed their wounds, and immediately he was baptized, he and all his household. 34And he brought them into his house and set food before them, and rejoiced greatly, having believed in God with his whole household.

35Now when day came, the chief magistrates sent their policemen, saying, “Release those men.” 36And the jailer reported these words to Paul, saying, “The chief magistrates have sent to release you. Therefore come out now and go in peace.” 37But Paul said to them, “They have beaten us in public without trial, men who are Romans, and have thrown us into prison; and now are they sending us away secretly? No indeed! But let them come themselves and bring us out.” 38The policemen reported these words to the chief magistrates. They were afraid when they heard that they were Romans, 39and they came and appealed to them, and when they had brought them out, they kept begging them to leave the city. 40They went out of the prison and entered the house of Lydia, and when they saw the brethren, they encouraged them and departed.

31They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
John 11:25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;
Do you believe in the resurrection and the life?

32And they spoke the word of the Lord to him together with all who were in his house.
Mark 16:15 He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
Do you preach the gospel to all creation? To every creature - That is, to every human being. Man has no right to limit this offer to any class of men. God commands his servants to offer the salvation to "all men." If they reject, it is at their peril. God is not to blame if they do not choose to be saved. His mercy is manifest; his grace is boundless in offering life to a creature so guilty as man.

"and immediately he was baptized, he and all his household."
Luke 19:9 Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.
Are you a son of Abraham?

"and rejoiced greatly, having believed in God with his whole household."
Acts 8:39 When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing.
Do you and your household go on your way rejoicing in salvation?

“They have beaten us in public without trial, men who are Romans, and have thrown us into prison; and now are they sending us away secretly?
They did not say this for pride but for the standing of the church as the leaders publicly beat them for spreading the gospel. It was also illegal to beat (punish) a roman without a trial. So the leaders came and begged them to leave the city.
When you spread the gospel, has someone begging you to leave?

Dear God, I ask that you touch the heart of those reading today's message. I ask that you bless them, protect them, keep them well and safe. Please give them boldness and the words to speak to bring others to You. In Jesus name I pray.

Blessings, David
