21And I will grant this people such favor in the sight of the Egyptians that when you leave, you will not go away empty-handed. 22Every woman shall ask her neighbor and any woman staying in her house for silver and gold jewelry and clothing, and you will put them on your sons and daughters. So you will plunder the Egyptians.”
God was going to richly bless the Israelites! This reminds me of another verse.
Romans 10:12 For there is no difference between Jew and Greek: The same Lord is Lord of all, and gives richly to all who call on Him,
Why would the Lord do such a thing? Think of it this way.
Matthew 7:9Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11So if you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
It comes down to love, He loves you when no one else will. His love never fails.
Have you called on Him?
Have you asked Him?
“And I will grant this people (His children) such favor”
Blessings, David
