11One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to his own people and observed their hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people. 12After looking all around and seeing no one, he struck down the Egyptian and hid his body in the sand.
13The next day Moses went out and saw two Hebrews fighting. He asked the one in the wrong, “Why are you attacking your fellow Hebrew?”
14But the man replied, “Who made you ruler and judge over us? Are you planning to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?”d
Then Moses was afraid and thought, “This thing I have done has surely become known.”
One day.... kinda starts out like a fairy tale. We accelerate from a baby to an educated man, a man trained up, educated and prepared to become a pharaoh.
After looking around and seeing no one..... Moses grows up, but he failed to look up! Moses the man is about to do something bad. He could have used his power and stature of his office to quell the Egyptian but instead he allowed emotion to rule over him.
“Who made you ruler and judge over us? Moses is rejected as the prince and deliverer of his people. Jesus was too!
“This thing I have done has surely become known.”
Everything we do in secret will become known when we are judged.
Are you prepared for that day?
Blessings, David
