Galatians 1 Jesus gave, to rescue me, according to the Father's will.

1Paul, an apostle (not sent from men nor through the agency of man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead), 2and all the brethren who are with me,
      To the churches of Galatia:
3Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, 4who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, 5to whom be the glory forevermore. Amen.

Greetings brethren! How do you greet people? As Christians maybe we ought to use Paul's lesson when we greet someone? We can turn a greeting into a statement of faith. Will they then know you are His?
Grace and peace to you!

Verse four bears repeating; "who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,".
There are three key points in this verse.
1. He gave Himself for our sins.
2. so that He might rescue us from this present evil age,
3. according to the will of our God and Father,".

He gave, to rescue according to His will. Try this: Jesus gave, to rescue me, according to the will of our God and Father. Doesn't it show the love of Jesus and the Father for you?
When you are down and everything seems to be smothering in this present evil age remember this verse and recite it out loud!
(Jesus gave, to rescue me, according to the Father's will).
Blessings, David
