James 1 NASB
9 But the brother of humble circumstances is to glory in his high position; 10 and the rich man is to glory in his humiliation, because like flowering grass he will pass away. 11 For the sun rises with a scorching wind and withers the grass; and its flower falls off and the beauty of its appearance is destroyed; so too the rich man in the midst of his pursuits will fade away.
Where do you place your trust? Is it in your home? Your bank account? Your beauty? Your youth? All these things will pass away. If you place your trust in any earthly thing, you will end in the way these things end. Dried up, burned up, spent and blown away. If you place your trust in the Lord, your eternal home is reserved for you and the riches received then will surpass anything you can imagine in this life.
Blessings, Cecilia

Stanford Sanctuary gets it name from a sign my mother had hanging on a wilderness cabin in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, a place that gave us peace. Blessings, The Stanford's
