Deuteronomy 20:2-4 God Goes With You

 2When you are about to go into battle, the priest is to come forward and address the army, 3saying to them, “Hear, O Israel, today you are going into battle with your enemies. Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not be alarmed or terrified because of them. 4For the LORD your God goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.”

God goes with you 

“This was the reason for courage. When Israel was obedient, and trusting in God, they could never lose. But when they were disobedient, or not trusting, they could never win - even if they had superior forces.” (Guzik)

In 1945 at eighteen years old my father was drafted into the army and after boot camp he was shipped off to Okinawa as a Low Speed Radio Operator. While standing for inspection the officer asks, can anyone here type? My father raised his hand. The officer says, come with me staff sergeant. He was immediately promoted from Private to Tech 3 sergeant and became the typist for the commanding general of the island. I have his pocket Bible that he carried. Who knows, if he didn’t raise his hand I might not be here today?

With his faith and his Bible he was an example of, God goes with you.

No mater what battle you face or are going in to today you can also say, God goes with you!

Just accept Jesus Christ into your heart ❤️and He will do the rest!
