14You must not move your neighbor’s boundary marker, which was set up by your ancestors to mark the inheritance you shall receive in the land that the LORD your God is giving you to possess.
Years ago our family owned some property in a wilderness area. Upon visiting I noticed someone cut a new line through the property at an angle without permission. After inquiries were made we found out the state surveyed it and moved the back boundary markers north. By doing so they didn’t foresee it also moved the front line across the lake to the opposite shoreline. 🤣
