Luke 4:13 When the devil had finished every temptation, he left Him until an opportune time.
Temptation comes in many forms, to an alcoholic it may be driving by a liquor store. To a struggling financially person it may a handling money at work. To a porn addicted person it may a sexually revealing ad on the internet. To a lustful person it may be staying in housing on a trip with members of the opposite sex.
Why do we even tempt ourselves by allowing compromising situations?
King David allowed himself to peer on Bathsheba while she was bathing when he should have be engaged in war alongside his army.
But Joseph fled from temptation when Potiphar’s wife tried to seduce him.
The devil will return at an opportune time!
What will you do when temptation strikes?
I recommend you run and pray and don’t allow yourself to be put in compromising situations!
