Love One Another
(John 13:31-35; Romans 12:9-13)
11This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another. 12Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he slay him? Because his own deeds were evil, while those of his brother were righteous.
John speaks plainly by telling us we should love one another just as Jesus loves us.
Why is our world full of hate?
Why did a man shoot up a church?
Why did a neighbor blindside a senator while he was mowing his yard and break six of his ribs?
Why did a man shoot up a ball field trying to kill congressmen?
Because we live in a fallen, evil world and instead of fostering the love of Jesus people are promoting hate, resistance and violation of the rule of law!
What will you promote today, love or hate?
Will we be like Cain or Able?
Blessings, David
