Deuteronomy 5:22 The Lord Spoke

 22The LORD spoke these commandments in a loud voice to your whole assembly out of the fire, the cloud, and the deep darkness on the mountain; He added nothing more. And He wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me.

The Lord Spoke

“The whole scene was indeed awesome: The LORD spoke; there was fire, a cloud, thick darkness, a loud voice; and it all made such an impression on Israel that they asked Moses to not have God speak to them so directly any more.” (Guzik)

Has the Lord spoke to you? I remember one time I was standing face to face with evil and He spoke to me and said do not confront this man, turn now and go inside this store. I turned and quickly went through the door. As the door closed the man reared up a kicked the door causing a scene and ran off.

There are times the Lord leaves such an impression that it shakes us to our core and other times we need to remove ourselves from the noise around us to hear His small still voice. Either way we need to pay attention and listen to Him.
