9Of all the creatures that live in the water, whether in the seas or in the streams, you may eat anything with fins and scales.
10But the following among all the teeming life and creatures in the water are detestable to you: everything in the seas or streams that does not have fins and scales. 11They shall be an abomination to you; you must not eat their meat, and you must detest their carcasses. 12Everything in the water that does not have fins and scales shall be detestable to you.
Father knows best! The Lord had His reasons for kosher food.
Any water creature having both fins and scales was kosher and could be eaten.
On this principle, most fishes were considered clean - except a fish like the catfish, which has no scales. Shellfish would be unclean, because clams, crabs, oysters, and lobster all do not have fins and scales. (Guzik)

His family came first!
The same is true with our Father God! He loves ❤️ you so much He sent His Son on a 33 year mission trip to earth! He was the perfect sinless lamb that took our punishment for our sins and died on the cross, rose from the dead on the third day.
John 3: 16For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
What must you do to be saved and have eternal life? Believe and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. It’s call being “born again”!
John 3: 3Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.”
4“How can a man be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked. “Can he enter his mother’s womb a second time to be born?”
5Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. 6Flesh is born of flesh, but spirit is born of the Spirit.
You’re spirit (soul) must be born again to enter the kingdom of God!
