27And if one of the common people sins unintentionally and does what is prohibited by any of the LORD’s commandments, he incurs guilt. 28When he becomes aware of the sin he has committed, he is to bring a female goat without blemish as his offering for that sin. 29He shall lay his hand on the head of the sin offering and slaughter it at the place of the burnt offering. 30Then the priest is to take some of its blood with his finger, put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. 31Then he shall remove all the fat just as it is removed from the peace offering, and the priest is to burn it on the altar as a pleasing aroma to the LORD. In this way the priest will make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven.
Ordinary, common people, ordinary individual, member of the community, you people, soul of the people are all examples of different translations.
Do you view yourself as an ordinary common person?
During the covid-19 lockdowns the common people were ordered to stay at home while our leaders were free to do as they pleased. Our governor ordered that you couldn’t go to a second home or cabin but she did. She ordered businesses closed including those that stored, launched boats and installed docks.
When they were allowed to open again the governors husband tried to get a dock business to install their dock and launch their boat for memorial weekend ahead of others.
The a Good News is with Jesus Christ, His love for us is unequaled. With salvation we are His saints and we are no longer common! We are marked as His! We won’t die a second death! And we can earn up to five different crowns! (David Jeremiah)
While our leaders on this earth view us as ordinary common people our a Father in heaven sees us as His adopted children through Christ! We are special and are His saints!
Are you one of His saints?
Blessings, David
