1The LORD answered Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet. 2You are to speak all that I command you, and your brother Aaron must declare it to Pharaoh so that he will let the Israelites go out of his land.
We notice from yesterday’s study and today’s verses the Lord didn’t punish Moses for his unbelief. Instead He was patient with His servant Moses.
He is that way with us too. Take your questions to Him and ask away, wait patiently for His answer.
“He should stand before Pharaoh in the place of God, not only delivering His messages, but accompanying them with such actions of power as should demonstrate the authority of those messages.” (Morgan)
“A prophet is one who represents God to man and, as such, all the Lord’s people are prophets. Are we giving those around a true idea of God?” (Thomas)
Are you a prophet?
Blessings, David
