16To the woman He said:
“I will sharply increase your pain in childbirth;
in pain you will bring forth children.
Your desire will be for your husband,
and he will rule over you.”
There you have it, the punishment of mankind! Just remember, if it wasn’t Adam or Eve it would have been you or I.
Pain, women experience pain differently than men. It has been observed that women experience more pain in childbirth than any other creature on earth.
What mother hasn’t experienced pain throughout their lifetime concerning their children?
“As a result of the fall, man no longer rules easily; he must fight from his headship. Sin has corrupted both the willing submission of the wife and the loving headship of the husband. The woman’s desire is to control her husband (to usurp his divinely appointed headship), and he must master her, if he can.
