Genesis 2:8The LORD God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed. 9Out of the ground the LORD God caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
10Now a river flowed out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it divided and became four rivers.
Yesterday were blessed with a beautiful day, sunny and 70*. It was one of those days you just had to be outside working in His garden of nature. We spent the day planting flowers, transplanting small trees, cleaning up flower beds and just enjoying the nature He created.
It gave us only a small glimpse of what the garden of Eden was like.
As beautiful as our woods are there is still decay. Trees die, leaves fall, and everything composts on the ground.
But not in the garden of Eden! Before sin nothing decayed!
The same could be said about our bodies, before sin Adam and Eve we perfect, without decay.
Those of use in Christ have hope because one day we will be with Him and be perfect as He originality planned, without sin, without decay.
I can’t wait, can you?
Blessings, David
