Deuteronomy 31:7-8 Do not be afraid or discouraged

 7Then Moses called for Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you will go with this people into the land that the LORD swore to their fathers to give them, and you shall give it to them as an inheritance. 8The LORD Himself goes before you; He will be with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid or discouraged.”

“Men of encouragement like Moses are a blessing. Moses knew that Joshua might be wavering, so he encouraged him, and pushed him forward to be more than he perhaps thought he could be. God uses encouraging people to help us fulfill the destiny He has for us.” (Guzik)

Do not be afraid or discouraged.

Let these words sink in because as followers of Jesus Christ they should be written on our hearts ♥️.

Matthew 10:28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Man can kill the body but through Jesus Christ, the Father has marked your soul as HIS and no one can snatch it from HIS hand!

John 10:29 My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

What are you afraid of or discouraged over?

I encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, lift your fears and discouragement up to HIM in prayer and to look forward to your heavenly home!

John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
