God entrusted Timothy with the commission of sharing the Gospel. Paul knew how easy it was to be swayed away from the truth by smooth talking, self seeking false preachers. Paul warned and warned and warned some more against being fooled by such people.
There will always be false teachers, right up until the final battle. Don't be fooled. Trust what the Bible says, trust the word of God, not what comes from the mouths of man. Guard the truth of the Gospel. You too have been commissioned by God to share the Gospel.
1Timothy 6:20-21 NLT
20 Timothy, guard what God has entrusted to you. Avoid godless, foolish discussions with those who oppose you with their so-called knowledge.
21 Some people have wandered from the faith by following such foolishness.
May God’s grace be with you all.
Blessings, Cecilia
