1Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; 2and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.
How can we be imitators of God? When we believe in Jesus Christ and His gift of Salvation, that is accept His free gift we were adopted into the family of God as one of His children. And do not children imitate their parents striving to be like them?
We should try to imitate Gods love for us, that is, imitate His love love towards others.
How can you display Gods love towards others today?
How can you walk in love today?
"just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma."
You can love as Christ, putting others first, sacrificing time and resources for the kingdom of God and you too will be a fragrant aroma.
Be an imitator of Christ!
